After months of preparation, the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) rules came into force on May 25th, 2018, – but how does such legislation effect our industry?

In particular postal direct marketing, which does not require the opt in, was something our Chair saw as a golden opportunity for the direct mailing industry to lead the way in a new form of customer communication.
