MAKE THE MOST OF ROYAL MAIL INCENTIVES

On 1 September 2019 we are launching an exciting new Black Friday and Christmas Incentive, giving customers an opportunity to effectively sell more to their target audience by sending incremental Advertising Mail, Responsible Mail and Partially Addressed Mail volume during these two important shopping periods – all for as little as 12 pence per item. The increasingly popular Black Friday period is now one of the most opportune times for retailers and e-tailers to raise awareness and boost sales, and the following pre-Christmas period can then be used to drive repeat footfall, or website traffic.

Last year, our Christmas incentive generated 6.3m of volume and we are keen to build on this success.

As you are aware, we have improved the functionality of JICMAIL Discovery to make it easier to see your essential mail insights – in under 10 mins.

We have prepared some slides for briefing to make it as simple as possible to see how to access this information and why it is of benefit.

For the benefit of mail planning, we are particularly looking to embed the use of the full range of campaign metrics every time a mail campaign is discussed, quoted, scheduled and agreed.

SMP GETS A VOICE ON THE PAF ADVISORY BOARD

SMP Chair Judith Donovan CBE has joined the PAF (Postcode Address File) Advisory Board.

The PAF is maintained by Royal Mail and is the most accurate and complete address database in the UK, containing some 28 addresses and receiving around 1.5 million updates every year.

The advisory board was established in 2007 to offer independent advice to Royal Mail’s Address Management Unit on behalf of PAF users. Judith joins independent postal operators, mail users and public sector representatives on the board.
