‘New decade, new mail’ theme for 2020 Summit

This year’s SMP Summit will follow the theme of ‘new decade: new mail?’ – and is open to both members and the next generation of direct mail experts.

In response to your feedback, we are offering members the chance to bring an apprentice, trainee manager or junior member of staff to the event, on April 1st at Phoenix Place, London.

The format is changing slightly for 2020; to accommodate more guests, breakout sessions will be conducted at each table rather than delegates moving into different groups. 

Speakers announced so far are Soterios Soteri on the econometrics of the mail markets; Ricky McAulay on operational improvements and developments; and Phil Ricketts on the latest offerings from Marketreach. 

Topics for discussion will include emerging technologies and the effectiveness of Mailmark’s direct data.

SMP Chair Judith Donovan CBE said: “Such is the popularity of the summit that we wanted to respond to requests from members to bring along a guest. Therefore, in the interests of sharing experience and inspiring the next generation of mail experts, we have reformatted the programme to squeeze in more delegates.”
