SMP welcomes Royal Mail greetings card partnership

The Strategic Mailing Partnership has welcomed a joint project between Royal Mail and greetings card company Hallmark that encourages people to stay in touch through mail.

Under the scheme, Hallmark UK & Ireland will give away half a million gratitude cards, that will be collected then distributed free by Royal Mail.

Hallmark is producing and preparing 170,000 packs, each containing three cards.

The cards can be sent to anyone who is doing everything they can to make an impact, whether they are supermarket workers, helpful neighbours or busy parents juggling work with home schooling.

SMP Chair Judith Donovan CBE said: “At the moment, we can probably all think of someone who is going above and beyond, whether they’re working for the NHS or making a difference through simple acts that help other people out.

“This is a lovely way to show appreciation for our everyday heroes and one that enables people to stay in touch through the medium of mail.”

Packs of cards can be ordered through the Hallmark website.
